Thanksgiving Break is Coming!!!

I'm so excited for Thanksgiving break! I can't wait to see my family and to eat, play games and generally hang out and have fun all weekend. I am determined to get enough done before Thursday that I won't have any homework over the break. (Of course, that means writing two papers, reading a few hundred pages, and finishing my unit plan, but I should be able to do that, right? *crosses fingers*) After this week, I'll only have three weeks left in the semester! I'm experiencing such a strange mixture of anxiety, panic, and excitement that I am actually queasy.

This day has not begun well . . .

I slept in and was just glad that I was able to get to Hebrew in time despite walking in the wind and rain this morning. When I got to Hebrew, I realized that I left my keys in my room, so I can only hope that someone will be at the house and will let me in after my last class today. I also forgot my USB drive, so I can't work on my papers between classes. That's alright, though, because I completely forgot my Decameron reading for my next class, so I'll just read about a bunch of friends who are trying to forget that everyone around them is dying of the plague (fun stuff, that). My rushed morning also resulted in a lack of breakfast, so I'm feeling somewhat ill and I can hardly wait for the Union to start serving lunch at 10:30. This is the first time I've forgotten to bring things because of sleeping in! *sigh* I suppose it had to happen sometime. Just why on a cold, rainy day?
